Yeah, they do. I do believe in adverbs. I just think it's really easy to fall into the rhythm of modifying a word in every sentence--which really slows the reader down. I say, put your adverbs where you need them most and forget the rest!
Love the one about the twitter bots! SO true. I'm still new so I'm still getting the hang of it. I had a few people add me that just spammed the entire time until I deleted them. I don't want to read constant advertisements!
