ABOUT

When I first started writing, I felt like a bit of a traitor, because I’d spent the last decade in a completely different industry: product design. At this point, I hold over fifty patents for all kinds of things--from toothbrushes to eye wash stations! When the idea for a story crossed my mind, the first thing I thought was: I wish I was writing, because I know how I’d write that. Then I completely surprised myself by writing it.

My Writing Space
Now writing is as much a part of me as design ever was--my fingers are still creating, just in a whole new way! These days, I'm proud to be a founding member of Kidliterati.com and a permanent mentor at First Five Pages Workshop. I also write a blog on design, capitalism, and product envy called Consumerisms.

I'm thrilled to share this journey with my agent, Pete Knapp. Please contact Pete at New Leaf Literary for rights inquiries.
